Steven Hooper Jr. joined 3i in 2006. He focuses on late stage opportunities in software, systems and services across the communications and wireless verticals. In addition, he supports 3i’s prospects and investments across enterprise software, internet and healthcare IT.

Steven joined 3i from Cascadia Capital, a Seattle-based boutique investment bank providing private placement and M&A services to emerging growth technology companies. As a member of the Communications and Wireless team, he was ultimately responsible for Cascadia’s business development and client relationship efforts in that segment. He successfully led transactions ranging from $10 million private equity fundings to $170 million buy-side mandates.

Steven received his BA with distinction in Economics from Colby College, where he was a Baker Scholar.
