Directions:

by car — From I-90 east, take the Cambridge/Brighton exit 18. Follow the signs to Cambridge and cross the River Street Bridge. After the bridge, turn right onto Memorial Drive. Follow Memorial Drive past the BU and Harvard Bridges. After the Harvard Bridge (Massachusetts Ave.), take a left turn onto Wadsworth St. at the sign for Kendall Square. The Tang Center (E51) will be on your left.
From I-93,take exit 26, and follow the signs to Back Bay along Storrow Drive West, approximately 1.5 miles, to the exit for Route 2A.The exit will be on the left, just before the Harvard Bridge (also called the Massachusetts Ave. Bridge) take a right onto Memorial Drive. Turn left onto Wadsworth St. at the sign for Kendall Square. The Tang Center (E51) will be on your left.

by bus
- The CT2 (Cross Town) stops at the Kendall Square T Station, as well as on the corner of Massachusetts Avenue and Vassar St., near the main MIT entrance. The Route 1 or Dudley/Harvard Station bus stops at the main MIT entrance on Massachusetts Avenue and provides transportation to Central Square and Harvard Square.

by subway
- By MBTA ("The T") train, take the Red Line to the Kendall/MIT Station. Once above ground (you will be on Main Street), head for the nearby Fleet Bank on the corner of Wadsworth Street. Walk half a block down Wadsworth Street toward the Charles River, then cross the street to a wide flight of stone steps — the MIT Sloan Plaza. The Hermann Building (which houses the MIT Sloan library and faculty offices; also known as E53) is straight ahead, and the main MIT Sloan building (E52) is on your right.
